Tahir BABATBusinessman, Project Expert, Chairman of MKA Management Board
Tahir BABAT was born in 1990 in Şırnak. He studied International Relations and Political Science. He conducted economic and socio-cultural studies and wrote numerous essays and articles. In the context of Turkey’s candidacy and harmonization process with the European Union, he established Turkey’s first and only Development and Project Agency in 2015.
Under the umbrella of MKA, he has contributed to over 800 economic and socio-cultural projects in 81 provinces, covering industries, agriculture, urbanization infrastructure, superstructure, and socio-guided areas. He provides consultancy and training services, preparing projects for the private sector, non-governmental organizations, public institutions, and local governments.
He has given numerous conferences both domestically and internationally. Similarly, he has participated as a speaker in presentations, seminars, symposiums, and meetings on economics and development in different cities of Turkey. Through the successful projects carried out at the local, regional, and national levels during his tenure at MKA, he has contributed to the country’s economy.
Starting from 2022, he has been playing a significant role in the international arena by developing the overseas project system beyond European Union projects, contributing to Turkey’s expansion abroad. He continues to work on new projects to create a global network through trade based on the Pool system he developed, bringing together domestic and international companies operating both domestically and abroad.
